hi
ive got an old atari 2600 console
but whithout the cable to the tv.

and in the hardware book i cant find such a cable.
i hope anybody here can help me.

There's only one plug.

It has only one wire.

Your TV has only one connector with a single plug.

the problem is that i dont have this wire

ive tryed to concect it white a chinch cable to a scart adapter but this dosnt work

Okay. Do you mean that RCA cable that you would run from the Atari to the TV, or do you mean the box that cable goes to?

The output is RF, not anything SCART handles. Hook it up to your the RF input on your TV. I think you need to channel to a UHF channel (can't remember the one) to see it.

It's a bit simplier in the US. If you were here I'd tell you go to Radio Shack and pick up the gaming switch box (most stores still have these) and tell you to put your TV to channel 3. I remember looking at a book about 80's computers from the UK, and the box they were showing for using RF was huge compared to the US boxes. I'm not sure if they were showing an RF modulator, or if it converted the signal somehow (considering US RF boxes use VHF 3 or 4).

i come from germany

so i only have to build a cable that gos from the amiga (chinch) to my tv.

thats right ?
