That's a pretty terrible pic. Maybe take a better one and we can tell you :)
It's close to midnight and memboard is lurking in the dark.
Sorry guys here is the better pic

and here is from another angle for you

What's the number printed on the ram chips (the ones standing vertically at the back of the board). How much ram was it advertised to have?
MM514400827
That looks like a 1Mx4 chip, so that means it's a 5mb board.. Weird... :o
You might want to wait till some of the more experienced members here chime in, but it sure looks like it should work ok.
Hi 98Pacecar !
QuoteThat looks like a 1Mx4 chip, so that means it's a 5mb board.. Weird... :o
That is not true ! Let's take another board for example.
SH-6BE-2 2MB board

This has four 424400-60 chips which have 1 048 576 words by 4 bits. The ram needs to work in 8 bits so the final amount is 2Mb.
The unknown board has twenty MM514400827 chips which have 1 048 576 words by 4 bits. This means that it is a massive 10Mb board !
P.S. Wildo2Ne, could you please make a good quality high-res, unblurred photos of your board from both sides for the Wiki ?
Keep the scene alive !

your kidding me this is a 10meg board? I got it off yahoo japan for like 50 bucks
Hi Wildo2ne !
Check the RAM chips. If all 20 of them are MM514400827 then you are a very lucky man ;)

Duh, you're right. That makes a ton more sense. I probably shouldn't do any more math today! ;D
here is a hi res shot of the chips

sometimes you just have to plug it in and see what happens, it comes up as the 10 meg ram board
Hi 98Pacecar and Wildo2Ne !
98Pacecar,

On the contrary. Practice makes perfect ;)
Wildo2Ne,
Thank you for the pic. Could you, pretty please, make two more ? It would be best if you did it outside where there is enough light. All these pictures somehow look too dark. One straight of the top and one straight of the bottom of the board. It would be very nice if all of the picture was unblurred. Sorry for being so picky. It's for the Wiki - to protect and preserve.
P.S. As Lukemorse1 says "Let's pop that it and play some of that !"

Ive found that using a flatbed scanner is an awesome way to take pictures of smaller boards like those.
