Title: Price Check Sacom SX-68M-2
Post by: wildo2ne on July 15, 2014, 11:47:18 PM
I just bought a Sacom Midi card off of Yahoo Japan for just under $97.00 and was wondering if that was a fair price or not?

I'm sure midi boards go for $100+ on ebay, so yeah i think it's a good deal. I forgot what i paid for my System sacom version 1 board. (sorry offtopic: Is there a difference between the two other than the connector?)

wrong guy to ask on that, but from what I have read it seems just the connectors are different but someone more knowledgeable then me would have to confirm that.

ym3802 chip is used for all of these cards, so technically, they shouldn't be much different.
Though official Sharp could be the only one officially supported by game makers, i have yet to hear about incompatible games.

Then i leave the experts confirm :)
