Title: SCSI Enclosure Help
Post by: swisstoni on July 06, 2014, 10:26:34 PM
Ive just purchased an SCSI drive bay, all works fine but the SCSI connector wont fit through the rear plate (even thought I checked with the seller it would fit with an SCSI 1 cable) is the hole for a different SCSI standard and would I be able to buy a connector rather than cutting the metal plate?

Hi, usually SCSI enclosures (like the mine) come with two Centronics 50 pin female connectors on the back.Where your are the cables in the picture  from?

Maybe your seller thought about DB25 SCSI and not C50?

Judging from picture, shapes and sizes... I'd say 1 HD68 and 2 HD50 connectors should fit.. Skeptical about DB25. But better double check sizes.

There are plenty of adapters available on ebay. You can virtually change to any connector and find the cable you need. :)
