Any of the midi cards should work fine in all the 68000 models. My understanding is that some of the SACOM models have compatibility issues with some games but I havent encountered any issues so far with the one I have.
What is a fair price to pay for a midi card?
It's hard to tell because many sellers come with a complete set of midi card, cables and midi module, so they can go for a higher pricetag. I bought a sacom one for 7000 yen, no box, no manual, no cables, nothing. I just want to decide later about the module, so I'm fine like this.
