Now with built in 030 support, crazy overclocking(75mhz!), mmu, fpu, 32 and 64 bit builds included, and racist locale check removed. ROMs are here (http://nfggames.com/x68000/OperatingSystems/NetBSD/XM6i/). Get the update here (http://www.geocities.jp/kugimoto0715/xm6g_win32.html).
Just tried the new 32-bit version on my WinXP SP3 German OS.
If I try to open the Tools > Options... window I get error message that a resource is missing.
Maybe a conflict exist with my installed Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable Package (x86).
Yeah. I have no idea what thats about. Both builds do it to me. I just hand edited the INI. Set ModelType=1(enable 030), Clock= up to 13(75.3mhz), MPU030=1(enable on chip MMU), FPU=1(enable 68881/68882 FPU).
It works by using Japanese OS. I guess, it is a bug in the program resources.
I just checked. All of the english dialogs are missing.
AW: Can it be, the last version of XM6g has a bug in the resources?
I`m not able to open the screen for the options on non-Jap. OS
Gimons: Thanks, I already know the bug,and will release fix version in few days, wait a moment please
The problem is solved, make a new download.
Wow.. i thought GIMONs had given up after leaving it so long since the last update of XM6g.
Update: If anyone's interested... I've tested the 64 bit version of XM6g on Windows XP x64, and it runs. so it should work on Vista x64 to... if people out there are still using it.
