Hi can any one recommend a good crt monitor here in the Uk that will work with my x68000.

Hi, Sy35 !

You need a monitor which supports horizontal frequency 15 - 35Khz. Such monitors were mostly used with Amiga so how about trying UK manufactured Microvitec M1438 or M1538 ? I personally use Microvitec M1438, Caius has the bigger M1538. The picture on them is crisp and sharp.

Wrong... ;) I have a Microvitec M1438S ('S' stands for stereo since it has two speakers) and it's really the best choice for your X68000!
