Title: ram problems

HI can any one tell me how i can get my ram card to work on my ace. It is in the I/O expansion slot but it is not working. Is there some thing i need to do to tell the x68000 to make it work. The card that i have is SH-6BE-2/4M-1 - Memory expansion board it is the one the loos like it could be the 4m one.

Hi sy35,

The minimal requirement of the SH-6BE-2/4 is to already have 2MB of RAM. See this page :

Because stock ACEs have only 1MB, you need an extra 1MB card inside first.
The CZ-6BE1A is designed for this purpose :

Well this one is funny because its ace hd that is not work still but for some reason the ace that never worked just started up and was working fine yesterday. do know how but it is ;D. and it has not even got a battery in it mad but cool. so if i have got this right i need to have two meg of ram to make this ram card work.
