Title: Replacing my Commodor 1084S-D1 with a Sony PVM-2030
Post by: c0dehunter on July 14, 2012, 08:12:24 PM
Hello all,
I have successfully connected my Commodore 1084S-D1 to my modern PC,  using Soft15Khz and a compatible video card (ATi 4350). Well, I just realized that a Sony PVM 2030 is not only bigger but better monitor as well, so I picked up one locally for a great price. I need to make me a new custom VGA to DB25 cable and I needed to know what is the pinout for this monitor?

Out of the 1084S-D1's 9 pins, it only takes 8 standard to be connected to a 15pin VGA. What about PVM 2030? How many wires does it take to connected to a 15pin VGA cable?

Is there a schematic or chart for connecting 15 pin VGA to 25 pin Sony?

Any hep would be greatly appreciated!

The wiki on this site has a pinout.
