Title: Is composite video safe to use for composite sync?
Post by: Ocelot85 on April 16, 2012, 04:18:36 PM
I've got a Sony PVM monitor that has RGB, external sync and sync on green.

I want to connect a PS2 to this screen with RGB, but PS2 doesn't have a composite sync output. I does however have composite video output. Connecting composite video to the monitors composite sync input does work, but is this bad for the monitor in some way? This is not a SCART monitor.

No, it's not bad in any way.
