Title: Has anyone ever tapped the RGB from a Famicom Titler?
Post by: panzeroceania on April 05, 2012, 12:00:14 PM
Has anyone ever tapped the RGB lines inside of a Famicom Titler who could give me careful, specific, step by step instructions?

This is very rare, old, expensive hardware so I don't want to screw it up. Also if there are other things I can practice on that would be great.

At least the correct PPU is already in the system by default so tapping the lines should be a lot simpler. I can take pictures, just looking for help if anyone is interested in seeing the inside of a Famicom Titler.

Chris Covell did it with his: http://www.chrismcovell.com/gotRGB/fctitler.html (http://www.chrismcovell.com/gotRGB/fctitler.html)

It looks like you just wire up the RGB lines from the points shown and then connect them to 75 ohm resistors for the final output.
