Title: SEGA MULTIMEGA,NO POWER,B1267 TRANSISTOR PROBLEM
Post by: raggio252000 on April 01, 2012, 08:25:39 PM
Hi!

I have a non working multimega, the system doesn't start, however the CD rom unit works only the with batteries so I think that the lens is ok.
In my opinion  the system was connected with a wrong AC adaptor.

I suppose that there is a problem on the AC board with B1267 transistor, does anyone know where can I buy another one?

2sb553 came up an alternative while I was googling.. You'd probably get away with most power transistors, I've had fairly good luck using whatever I have on scrap boards as far as replacing transistors.. Just gotta make sure it's the right type. (pnp/npn)
