Title: Nintendo 64 RGB too red/dark on an XRGB-2
Post by: Piratero on February 19, 2012, 11:36:24 AM
I have the transistor mod (prior to the RGB driver by RGB32).

And the Nintendo 64 RGB is just too red/dark on an XRGB-2 using a Super Famicom RGB cable.

Could anyone know of any reason why it might be too red and dark?

This system works/ed perfectly on an XM-29, XM-37, and the GSB8220 scaler. It was a perfect image using a European SCART cable (one without the 220uF capacitors and one with the 220uF capacitors).

Anything else that I'm missing?

i recall ( i used to have xrgb2 ) that you can change the rgb levels and brightness ( same with my xrgb2 plus),

Sorry, I should of have mentioned that if I change those levels, the image actually becomes darker.

So changing the values only make it worse.
