What do you think of this auction ? It looks too good to be true.

Probably true.

But I think it's useless for being used as duplication,  simply because most of the components used in nereid are no more available nowadays !

He just sell it for educational purpose : the core logic design (the huge ispLSI2128 in center) may be reused as a base to newer design. It's a  reprogrammable component called a CPLD, used to translate the x68k ext signals bus to slave components. It also contains a dram controller for FPM dram plus some others functions specific to the x68k (address decoding and auto-vectored interrupts provider)
