Title: x-select-D4 help needed
Post by: wing on March 16, 2004, 04:05:34 AM
Just got it from the mail and couldn't get it to work with my Viewsonic P75f+

the viewsonic supports 30-97kHz Horizontal and 50-160 Vertical yet error msg states: H.V frequency over range

Any help very much appreciated

PS2 using input 2 via Component cables
Gamecube using input 1 via D-Terminal

That's VGA level and up. Most PS2 games don't support this, and those Gamecube games that do support it need a special trigger, like holding down the B button while booting the machine. If anything, your H frequency is under range. Try the Gamecube games; you're more likely to be successful with those.

Tried the B button method but didn't work..

I'm using Final Fantasy: CC (US) which supports progressive scan. The x-select-D4's progressive light is on as well.

Wld very much like to access the xselect menu but my monitor refuses to show anything ><
