Title: rgb av famicom s-video kit
Post by: Drakon on January 28, 2011, 02:06:05 PM
hey I found these interesting kits here:

just stick it in google translate and you'll see that it's just an amp and s-video encoder for the rgb signal.  I was just wondering if anyone's bought one of these or knows what the s-video picture quality is like

Still requires you to scanvenge an RGB PPU, from a playchoice 10 for instance.

yes I already have the rp2c03b I successfully did the rgb mod on my av famicom and everything works great.  The issue I'm having is when I externally convert the amped rgb picture to s-video I get this annoying white border around the graphics so I'm wondering if ordering one of these kits will give me a nice clean s-video picture.
