hi everyone, i'm new to the forum but I've been reading it for a while and figured that if anyone could help me it's probably you guys.
I just got my hands on two Panasonic TC-1470Y but i can't find any info on the monitor online, i was wondering if anyone has a clue about the specs of this monitors and if they have rgb, or if they are any good at all ,any help would be appreciated. thanks.
Looking here, (http://"http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=fr&u=http://www.repaire.net/forums/ventes/94759-moniteur-tournage-panasonic-tc-1470y.html&ei=JmkpTLPiKM3McMrhsNcC&sa=X&oi=translate&ct=result&resnum=2&ved=0CBwQ7gEwAQ&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dtc-1470y%26hl%3Den%26client%3Dfirefox-a%26hs%3DLX7%26rls%3Dorg.mozilla:en-GB:official") it seems it doesn't do RGB, but does do composite and s-video.
Thanks, I actually found that bit of information for myself... there is a weird connection on the back of the unit marked vtr it looks like a proprietary interface but it has 8 pins so i was thinking maybe it's rgbhv of sorts?
Does it look like this? (http://freespace.virgin.net/matt.waite/resource/av/8pinvtr.htm) If so, it's a video tape recording connector.
Yeah that's it. than there is no rgb , i was kind of hoping for it... oh well it looks pretty good in s-video and it didnt cost much. :)
Thanks for your help.
