Can anyone tell me whats going on with the controls on this port (from NES)? ???
the joystick appears to work sometimes and then promptly stop.
I kept this snippet for some reason;

could this be a clue? The galaga port i have is from the NES.
Those ports seem to be static recompilations and can be kind of buggy. I doubt all of them were tested all the way through for playability.
