Hello everyone...

I have a problem with my Mega CD II Pal Console. When i put it on, the TV flickers short but the Screen keeps black, no Access LED blinks or something. Also the CD drive didn't start turning. But when i put a cartrige in the Mega Drive/Genesis and put it on, the Mega CD II Access LED blinks for a fraction of a second.

Anyone has an idea ?

Seems like the Mega Drive can't find the CD bios when you turn it on without a cartridge.
I'd say try cleaning the edge connector on the Mega Drive main board.

I tested it with 3 different Mega Drives (cleaned edge connector)... No effect :(

Blown power circuit on the Mega-CD unit. (would have the same effect as having no power supply connected)

If someone insert a incorrect AC adapter (wrong voltage or inverted polarity) the fuse blows.

Then it can only be a problem with the connection or something too difficult for you to fix.
