Post by: TBFA on January 16, 2010, 02:02:48 PM
Hi guys,im Brazilian, is my first post that will show a scheme how to adapt a 3º joystick to a snes. He works only like 3P not 4p or more. By using barely a diode  :o..

Scheme

connect the wires 1,2,3,7 from 2º joystick to the same wires on 3º joystick, the wire 4 must be connected to a diode then connected to pin 5 from entrance (11pins) from the joysticks .

Welcome to GamesX. What's the availability of the multi-tap in Brazil? Theoretically, you can get up to five controllers connected to the Super Nintendo, but I can't think of any games that supported that many players off the top of my head. Also, unless I'm mistaken all those signals are multiplexed off of the Player 1 port, so there might be other connections you need to make similar to what you've already illustrated.
