Title: Panasonic MSX2 FS-A1 PSU help
Post by: InspecteurZ on November 04, 2009, 03:23:08 AM
Hello. I have got a Panasonic MSX2 FS-A1 without PSU, and looking at it seems a little weird. The PSU connector has 3 pins, and locking inside at the motherboard, they are labeled DC, AC and GND. On the back of the unit, it sais DC 9V 1.2A, AC 18V 170mA.

Why should a machine like that need AC? Any ideas on where to find a similar PSU? I search ebay, but PSU aren't sold separatly.

Thanks.

The 18V~ is needed to generate the +/-12v for the Expansion Slot.
You can probably use the PC with just the DC supply, but some things could not work (FM-Audio for example).
