Title: ps2 laser signal test point locations?
Post by: phreak97 on October 11, 2009, 11:04:56 PM
Ok, I've had a dead japanese ps2 in bits in a box for ages because the laser is reading like 10% of games, and I'd like to use this guide to see if I can get any more life out of the current laser, or to calibrate a new one if it turns out I need one.

I actually have two consoles I'd like to fix up.. one is a japanese V6 and the other is a PAL V9. neither of which are shown on that guide.

anyone got a better source of diagrams?

cheers.

http://www.4shared.com/dir/8114060/f6ae20/PS2.html (http://www.4shared.com/dir/8114060/f6ae20/PS2.html)  <- all service manuals I have (they're all over the net by the way)

Since they don't tell you how to pirate PS2 games I don't think of any bad in post them here.
