Post by: atom on February 05, 2004, 01:37:02 PM
I hear you can make a small bootable hd out of building a connector to one of these cards to the ide on your motherboard. Im kinda new to Electrical engineering plus i cant find any pinouts anyways. Anyone help?

Seems to me you're thinking of Compact Flash, which has a pinout very friendly with ATA/IDE.  There are commercial adaptors available for under thirty bucks, you're nuts to try and make your own at that price.  You'll pay more and invest countless hours of labour to do it.
