I get NTSC/PAL with the 50/60Hz and EN/JP, but for Jap 50Hz(Asia) I get nothing, not even a designed for NTSC Genesis message. Is that normal?
Edit: Just tried with a regionfree game, works fine, but still doesn't even show error messages on region locked games.
What version do you have?
On the console is written "High Definition Graphics - Stereo Sound"?
If yes, then the "TMSS - TRADE MAKR SECURITY SYSTEM" is not present, so no license message.
