Similar to the GameBoy Advance, I wish to either modify the existing one, or make a new one for the GameBoy Color. Here is the GameBoy Advance one:

Does anyone know where I can read up on how to convert the LCD signals for the TV, or maybe post on a couple things I need to find out how to do. Thanks a bunch.
It's a madman's dream. Converting digital signals requires intimate knowledge of either the screen's operating format or the chips used in the system, and in either case you're looking at making and implementing custom chips to decode the signal, recreate a TV friendly one and effectively prepare it for use.
If you can't program your own chips and get your hands on Nintendo dev documents you should just forget it, and put your GBC games in your GBA.
How about using the existing one and modifying it?
The screen formats are different from the GBA to the GBC. You might want to take a look at my site for some Transverter modding stuff. http://pages.prodigy.net/tan.ax/ (http://pages.prodigy.net/tan.ax/)
Cool, thanks!
When you can get a GBA for less than $50 on ebay, why bother with anything else? It seems insane, unless you just like working on stuff like that. Or is there some benefit to the GBC?
I just like making stuff... :-d.
