Title: x-arcade on a snes
Post by: Drakon on November 10, 2008, 09:54:09 AM
a friend of mine had a x-arcade with a broken pcb.  So he sold me the broken stick for 15$.  I took it home, then I pulled out an old snes controller I have with a broken case (but the pcb on the controller is fine and dandy).  Did a bit of inventive wiring with the pcb from the snes controller

and voila, 15$ later I have a x-arcade on a snes.  I also did the same thing for my sega genesis but it wasn't as fun playing it on the genesis as it is on the snes.  The other strange thing is wiring it into both a snes and genesis controller board at the same time causes it to screw up.  The pcbs interfered with each other somehow.

Anyway here's a short video of it in action lol
