Anyone spend some time with one? As is my understanding, most people rank the lineage in a manner similar to:

XRGB2
XRGB2+
XRGB

Since the XRGB3 came out, I really haven't heard anyone compare it to the predecessors.

The most I can find are some posts over on AVSForums about the XRGB3 adding a processing delay to the video, something thats pretty much non-existent on the XRGB2 series. Unless you need DVI output, there isn't much need to upgrade. Availability of the units is pretty tight too, I haven't seen it in stock at any of the importer's sites in a long time and ebay has been pretty dry.
