Title: Stupid noob question: what do I do when a loading game asks . . . ?
Post by: kicknz on July 16, 2008, 04:08:47 AM
Hello.  I'm new to X68K and I cannot read Japanese so I'm having issues when certain games, upon loading, seem to be asking for some sort of command.  It seems several games load right away but Cotton, Akumajo Dracula, or Daimakaimura, for a few examples, ask a question or want me to input something.  Is there a list somewhere detailing what to do on each game's startup?

I tried searching for this information on Google but I'm not even really sure how to phrase the search.  I did find out that when Akumajo asks a question you type 1 but that's as far as I've gotten.  Anyone know anything they can share?  Thanks!

Sounds like you don't have enough RAM. All of the games you mention need 2MB RAM.

If you're sure you have 2MB RAM, your NVRAM might be set wrong.

If you'd like more accurate help, a screenshot of the error would help.

It's not the one that says <A>bort <R>etry, <I>gnore is it?  'cause that's the sign of a bum drive.

The RAM turned out to be the issue.  I thank you both for your help.
