Title: DB15 piniouts?
Post by: eastbayarb on May 28, 2008, 11:56:34 AM
When I bought my Sony PVM-2530 monitor, the guy sold me many rgb adaptors (SNES, Genesis, etc) that have a female DB15 connector on them which look like a Mac video cable or an old sound card/game port.

Anyone have the pinouts for this? Thanks

I've read something about a semi-standard DB15 pinout on Shmups forum:
http://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.php?t=20290&highlight=matt+cable (http://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.php?t=20290&highlight=matt+cable)

And still on shmups forum, said pinout was posted:
http://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.php?p=245756&highlight=#245756 (http://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.php?p=245756&highlight=#245756)

If that's not what you need, then it could be the Japanese DB15 PC98/FMTOWNS/X68000 AV cable.
You'll find the pinout here:

Good Luck!

could someone also post a DB9 pinout for a commodore 1084 (not a 1084S-D1 nor 9 pin DIN type)?

reason I ask is because I wanna make a DB9 to DB15 cable adaptor (most of my systems have a DB15 connector and the others have DB9)
