whenever i play a game on my snes the image ends up scramlbed like its not able to decode correctly does anyone have any idea of how to fix this?

one thing that could be a possible cause is i openned it up to look inside a while back and i remember screing this little screw on the pcb the screw has tc1 beside it but i tried messing around with turning it and test the game but to no avail

Sounds like a dirty cart port to me.  Have you tried cleaning the port and/or the carts?

Is your problem anything like this ?

If so, there's Video RAM problem on your system. Being either the chips itself or the connection from them to the S-PPU chips.
