Title: Newbie question on RGB on an NTSC SNES
Post by: FortMax on February 16, 2008, 10:59:26 AM
Is the only thing I need to do to get working RGB on an NTSC SNES the three 220 uf caps?

Also, when is pin-10 (+5v) used?

Finally, how do PAL systems send the sync signal? Is it sent with Green, or over Composite Video?

1. Yes
2. When you need some voltage for either the TV or circuitry in your cable
3. There's no composite sync on PAL systems, only composite video carries a sync signal
