I have a input on one of my old monitors called "Chroma" can anyone tell me what this means ?

I would assume color of some kind, other than that I dunno, is there a luma port too or something like that?

When you ask questions like this, you should say what type of monitor you have, or else nobody will understand.

Chances are, it's for the Chroma signal in S-Video.  On Commodore monitors, the Luma goes through the "video in" jack, and Chroma goes to the Chroma jack.
