I've been following the instructions on http://www.gamesx.com/rgbadd/n64rgb.htm (http://www.gamesx.com/rgbadd/n64rgb.htm) but I can not locate the U4 chip at all. I noticed on this picture http://www.gamesx.com/grafx/n64bview.gif (http://www.gamesx.com/grafx/n64bview.gif) for the RGB mod its goes to the chip U1. I found that easily its in the same location as in the picture. So should I keep searching for the U4 chip or use the U1 chip?

There are two models of N64. Most do not have the chip you can modify for RGB. If you don't see the chip it's probably because it's not there.
