Title: Snes APU
Post by: MaxDestiny on October 14, 2005, 03:35:27 PM
I wanted to know if its possible to modify the SNES APU to output a higher sampling rate than just 32khz 48khz would be nice. I got this idea when i stumbled across a site about taking an SNES APU and modding it to work through a parallel port on a pc to play back spc files, and the possiblility of using it in emulators inplace of and emulated APU. I figure if there is a SP\DIF mod, it would be nice to have a higher sampling rate with that Toslink Digital Audio. ^_^

Here is the link to the site on how to interface the APU to your PC
