There is no known mod for this system, unfortunately. Given how flaky the systems are and how cheap the top loaders are there hasn't really been a lot of demand for a fix.

There's definitely no EASY fix - you'd have to remove and resolder a new BIOS chip, there are no jumpers like the top loader.
