Title: powering a scorpion 3
Post by: watermelon on July 17, 2005, 06:38:31 PM
i want to use a scorpian 3 ps2 lightgun with the guncon2mouse driver, but to do so i need to provide power to the gun.

the power is provided via the ps2 controller connector.

i dont want to have to plug it into a running playstation when i want to use it on my Pc, so does anyone know which pins provide the power to run the gun?

Multimeters are cheap these days. A chinese made budget model costs only AU$10 at my local shop.

The basic signalling and voltage requirements for the PS controllers is well documented. I do not beleive that the voltage has changed at all since the PS controllers were originally introduced.
