Title: Inside a SNES pad
Post by: Vertigo on July 03, 2005, 02:46:32 AM
Not the contact pads :)
Where you have the 5-wire connector that goes out to the console, inside the pad on the component side where the middle three wires attach to, between that and the controller chip there are 3 black strips.
What is the purpose of these? Are they some sort of covert resistor, or what? If they're a resistor, what's the value? Any way to find out?
Cheers.

I think they're resistors.  Those carbon pads have a definite resistance.  Typically I just ignore them.  You can too!
