im having trouble finding component cables for ps2 and i figure ill just make some.
is it that easy? or is it moore than just hooking up the pins to the apropriate places?
and if so what pins do i hook up? ive got an svideo cable with all the pins on it so i think im good to go?
thanks in advance
Having trouble finding one? Here's a cheap one:

Or if you like your cables beefy:

Or, if you would like to build your own, I have unterminated RGB cables that can be terminated for component video, composite video, and audio. The RGB/component lines are the same. However, since you are unable to find component cables, you don't live in the US, right?
on eBay AU there're always few 3rd party YUV PS2 cables for A$7-9...
works fine as I'm using one of those with my PS2 Test on Plasma screen... :D
dj898, Will you stop using YUV to describe component or RGB video.... Where did you ever get the wrong idea?
