Hi guys,
I'm thinking about doing the xbox to vga thing but i was just wondering what voltage the 0.1uf cap has to be and also would this mod work for other stuff like playstation and dvd players of course with there own connections.

i think anything over say 10V for the cap should do fine

Fox,
0.1� is a bit small for a 'lytic. It sounds like you want a ceramic cap (orage disc shaped thing) and I don't think they're available in anything less than 50V.
