hello
i have been living in Canada since october and i brought with me from France, my gamecube. it is a pal GC and the north american TV are NTSC.
so when i use my GC i get a black and white image.how can i get a colour image back?
would a RGB cable be enough as it is the case in Europe when we use NTSE GC on our pal TV.

In Canada you won't find many (any?) TVs that accept a 50Hz signal. You have a few options, luckily your PAL GC outputs RGB without modifications... You can use an RGB cable and an RGB monitor (an Amiga monitor, the 1084 series, would be perfect) or an upscan convertor and a VGA monitor. Many VGA monitors do 50Hz, but many don't, and an upscan convertor that's any good (the XRGB series) is $150-250.
You might as well buy another cube if you expect to play many NTSC games. Gamecubes in Canada are pretty cheap, and the games are REALLY cheap.
There are no RGB-capable TVs in Canada. You have it good in Europe, North America's an RGB wasteland.
thanks for the answer
