ok, i want to pull whatever from this ntsc nes mobo and stick it in my pal nes so as to do this 50/60 mod everyone refers to when someone asks about doing a regular one. after a thousand people saying "not unless you have the other region bios" you would think it might have come up on google? apparently not.
so how do i do it? which chip is the bios? and will it come out in colour? the megadrive didnt, had to do an additional mod for that.
i already figured it'd be pal60 since the main crystal is the one for a pal console, and i dunno if its related to the format, but the vram chips are a different size entirely in the pal unit. anyway, i have the whole ntsc system for parts. so if anyone has any other cool mods i can do with combined parts, let me know also.

You need to chance/switch the PPU, CPU and the crystal. NTSC PPUs don`t work with pal crystals and vice versa. The Display is NTSC, because the US/JP PPUs do only output NTSC Video. I heared, PAL60 is possible with the newer 1Chip NES Clones (Jumpers on the PCB).
