Just wanted to see if there is a way to get s-video off a version 1 Genesis. If not would it be possible to get stereo sound off of a Version 2 since their is a way to do it.
Any thoughts on keeping the shielding on in a Genesis or the SNES for any reason any more? Just looking to free up some room on the inside for some mod room.
Thanks!

1. You can get S-video from any RGB source. The real question is how much effort do you want to put into it? Buy a $90 encoder and BAM, you're done... Or spend $20 on parts and try to make your own (often with mixed results).
I often chuck the shielding, but don't blame me if the FCC breaks down your door. ;)
also: "since their is a..." <- "there", not "their". Their is a collective possessive. "You know that family across the street? Their dog was hit by a rocket moose this afternoon."
