Title: The "usb Chip"
Post by: Akir on February 17, 2005, 08:37:34 AM
In the walkthrough (which, critically speaking, is more of a journal describing the process) Of turning the Saturn Joypad to a USB port, It said to use a USB chip. What are they, and where can I get them? I can't find what is ment by encoder chip on google or anything else.

Why dont you read the whole article instead of skimming for key words. It describes in exact detail how to do it. Take the chip out of the USB controller and slap it in the saturn controller.

I did read the whole thing. I wouldn't have criticixzed it if I hadn't.
And If I take the chip out of the USB controller, Then I wouldn't be able to use the Saturn Gamepad.

Well, yeah.  Remove the chip from one device and put it in another.  Throw the first device away or make it into an attractive conversation starter for the mantle.
