Title: Snes Rgb Cable
Post by: Jagasian on February 12, 2005, 06:36:31 AM
What is the best RGB cable for the SNES?  Is the official Nintendo RGB Scart cable the best?  Does it work with NTSC SNES systems?  Where can I get one?

GC RGB cables don't work on a SNES. You need to remove the capacitors in the scart plug. It will work then, though.
And yeah, the official ones are usually the best. I haven't seen an unoriginal cable of the same quality of the official, but I'm sure they exist.

since my question is along those lines...
Where could I find a Japanese RGB cable that works with an NTSC SNES? (I want to use an XRGB2 with my SNES)

I have some available.  $10 for a no-name brand, $35 for the super-high-quality SNES brand.  Both brand new.  $7 for shipping.
