Post by: nonete on January 15, 2005, 11:53:47 AM
Hello, I have a lot ot consoles, with rgb connection, like saturn, dreamcast, psx and ps2, but i cant get sega megadrive 1 and sega megadrive 2 work with a home made rgb cable.I dont know how i am doing wrong, but  when i put the ground in the scart, i get no image, and can get rgb work.Without ground, there is image, but colors are not correct.Theres any diagram to to a rgb for md1 or md2?, i search a lot in internet, but none found.Someone know what i am doing wrong?

Very thanks,
Regards

P.D: excuse my english, is not too good.

Just a guess but the mega drive rgb output is known to be much higher then it needs to be.It may be that because the output you are giving it is too strong, that you monitor/tv is blanking the 3 colours and thus a black screen.Try running each colour through a 75 ohm resistor.
