This has been asked many, many times.

See here (http://nfg.2y.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=888&view=findpost&p=5668) for one answer.

to do it the easy way you'd have to destroy both a psx pad and a saturn pad.. which means you would have to have a saturn pad which at least has working internals.. solder from the buttons on the saturn pcb to the traces going to the buttons on the psx pcb (make sure you disconnect the psx buttons from the chip on the psx board first, and ditch the cable).. in the end, why not buy another saturn pad?

EDIT: ok so lawrence replied while i was typing, and answered better aswell:(

Good work, phreak.  My answers tend to be a little curt.  It's nice to have some users on the forums more patient (And dare I say a lot nicer) than I am. =)

I'm sorry,I'm a new comer.
Saturn pad is not sold here anymore, and I have 5 PSX pads free.
Why not do it ?

I find I too have been a littly grumpy to this same question lately. Wouldnt he want to do a chip swap rather then pcb... connectorizing

Or would that be too complex\hard to solder?

I say someone should make a sticky talking about the Saturn USB mod and how it can apply to anything and explain it to (even more) rediculous detail... and then lock the topic. Just a suggestion I'd be happy to write it up as an article for my site.
