Title: Problem with Pal Snes after 50/60htz mod
Post by: mdd.45 on December 23, 2004, 11:27:38 AM
Hi i have a problem with my pal snes after trying to mod it with a 50/60htz switch. way My snes is not powering on anymore because during the mod procedure i didnt unsolder pins 24 and 30 from PCB . So when i tried my switch my snes "died" because as i found (big mistake of me:( ) i forced 5v to ground and that killed my snes is there any way to fix it, something to check if is dead and needs replacing (transistor, fuse , or maybe the regulator? please help if you know... Thanks

Indeed i solved my problem by changing a 1.5A fuse near the snes regulator, for everyone that might has the same problem in the future and needs the solution.... ;)
