Hello,

I'm working on a "module" for XMG6 emulator to use via Hyperspin.

The module provides the user with pull down boxes with which the user can alter settings to be manipulated and stored on both a GLOBAL and GAME SPECIFIC basis.

So far this is what I am giving the user the opportunity to manipulate.

GLOBALLY USER Can set
1) set fullscreen to true or false
2) automatically display keyboard to true or false
3) Set Memory Main Ram to any of the available settings
4) automatically hide status bar during game play to true or false
5) display xpadder to true or false
6) set default controller P1 to whatever they want (default is cyberstick digital)
7) set default controller P2 to whatever they want (default is cyberstick digital)
8: set default input device for P1 to whatever they want
9) set default input device for P2 to whatever they want

GAme specific settings include
1) set P1 controller to whatever they want (overrides default setting)
2) set P2 controller to whatever they want (overrides default setting)
3) Set enter MOUSE MODE automatically to true or false (default is false)
4) SET Clock speed to whatever they want (default is 10mhz)

and this works for both
1) hds/hdf/dim/xdf etc via manipulation of ini file before emulator launched
2) save state games via in emulator manipulation of settings (all automatic of course)

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;DIf anybody has a suggestion of what else to add to make gameplay better,...please let me know
the module remembers these settings and then uses them every time the game is launched in the future
the user just has to click one button!!!
:D :D :D :D :D :D :D

thanks

 Hi CraigAnderson !

A CPU speed setting for 10mHz, 16mHz and 25mHz would be a very nice feature.

my bad
i guess i didn't "word it" correctly
its called clock speed in the emulator so thats what i callled it
see 4) above

4) SET Clock speed to whatever they want (default is 10mhz)
.......not just 10,16,25...but they can set it to whatever they want (meaning the available options built into emulator, not that they can type ANY number they want)
...default is 10

 Hi CraigAnderson !

I think that it would be beneficial to make this a global setting because most of the games run fine at that speed and loading times can be noticeably reduced.

ok i can have them set it at a global level (with default 10)
and then leave the OPTION of setting it on a game by game basis

update: DONe
they can set GLOBAL level (with default at 10 if they dont mess around with this setting at all)
and then set a game by game setting for any games that need a different level
works for both
1) hds/hdf/dim/xdf etc
2) as well as the games that load via save state (which is what i use to load into the compliation disks so the user goes right to the game)

 Hi CraigAnderson !

That would be excellent !

 Hi CraigAnderson !

V4 features the best games for X68000 so you can safely add all of them.

hit a little snag
it seems like increasing the CPU before/during game loading can interfere with the loading process
