Title: Scart Cable Modding???
Post by: Lettuce on March 30, 2004, 03:40:23 AM
Hi, im woundeing if some nice soul could help me out!? I have a N64 console with the RGB mod done on it, but since ive had the mod done, the contrast level of the N64 has been low, everytime i want to play the N64 i need to put the contrast on the TV almost to MAX!!!

I was reading this thread over at the SegaXtreme forums, about making a home made MD 2 scart cable,

http://www.phantasy-star-universe.com/foru...topic=923&st=0& (http://www.phantasy-star-universe.com/foru...topic=923&st=0&)

And one of the posts was saying you need to add some 75ohm resistors to the scart cable otherwisethe picture will be too bright!!! I knew in my N64 RGB scart cable it had 3 resistors in it already, so i thought that if i removed these resistors then it would sort my contrast problem out!! I removed the resistors but it didnt change the contrast level!!!  Does anybody know how i can mod the scart lead so it boosts the contrast level up??? Any help is much appreciated

Isn't this exactly the same question you asked in the other thread?
