Bump! I'm talking about the ball in the track ball mouse. Come on guys! This could be useful. I don't want a perfectly good mouse to stay useless forever.

On my XVI compact mouse it is approximately 2cm.

Thanks. I'm guessing the track ball mouse has a 7/8 inch ball.

So i finally found a decent replacement. The mouse ball is a non-standard size (around 23mm)
I replaced it with a ball bearing, and it works pretty darn well. Just posting so that people who have the same problem in the future can know what to do

It works better than an original mouse ball for me, but sure does make the mouse a lot louder.
